Before any periodontal treatment is carried out Anna preforms a comprehensive periodontal assessment of all your teeth and gums.

Pain Management
Use of local anaesthetics are freely available to all our patients when understanding dental treatment. Please discuss any concerns you have with Anna and a treatment plan for your pain management will be included with your treatment.

Deep cleaning / Root planning
All periodontal (deep cleaning) is used with an ultra sonic scale and hand instruments.

How long it takes

At your initial appointment you will be informed of the severity of your gum health. From there you will be advised how many appointments you will need and the recommended follow-up and recall visits. Appointments are between 30-90 minutes depending on the treatment you need.

If you need local anaesthetic, we recommend you to eat prior to your visit as you can be numb for a few hours after your appointment.

Avoid hot/cold foods after dental treatment. Eat soft foods to prevent discomfort or damage to the treated area.
